Greenville, S.C., wants to stand out as “that” Greenville around the country.

After several months of working with a committee, the Greenville Convention and Visitors Bureau recently launched a new marketing and tourism campaign for the area.

“YeahThatGreenville is a tourism destination brand that aims to showcase the area’s urban and natural assets to tourists, emphasizing Greenville, S.C., against the more than 35 other cities that share the name “Greenville” around the country.

The local Convention and Visitors Bureau also announced that it will now be known as VisitGreenvilleSC.

A new website for VisitGreenvilleSC, formerly the CVB, will launch this June. The site will feature multiple language translations, social content from the Web and booking engines, enabling visitors to book their entire visit on one site.

YeahThatGreenville is the first real effort for Greenville as a whole to have a tourism destination campaign, according to a news release.

More than 400 business and community leaders gathered at Zen in downtown Greenville last Thursday for the unveiling of the campaign.

The campaign includes print ads which will run between May and July in regional leisure magazines, such as http://www.newsfeedmaker.com/article/140993161/9cad0b81 If you need a cheap air ticket, hotel or rental car please visit http://www.airticket.com
