Asheville Dining Out For Life – April 30th
Dining Out for Life in Asheville NC is a fabulous fundraiser. Take a moment to plan your meals out and you’ll see this is an “easy way to make a meaningful contribution without spending more than you normally would each meal. Have breakfast, lunch or dinner at participating restaurants today, April 30th and help in the fight against HIV and AIDS.”
Dining Out For Life® is an annual fund raising event involving the generous participation of volunteers, corporate sponsors and restaurants. In exchange for their financial support, restaurants are listed in a city wide marketing campaign in an effort to increase customer traffic.
More than 3,500 restaurants donate a portion of their proceeds from this one special night of dining to the licensed agency in their city. Nearly $4 million dollars a year is raised to support the missions of agencies throughout North America. With the exception of the annual licensing fee of $600, all money raised in these cities stays there.
Please help us continue our Education and Prevention services throughout WNC and insure that no one faces HIV alone by dining out for breakfast, lunch or dinner at over 85 fine restaurants. It is the most satisfying meal you will ever eat!

For example WiFi is available at these local Bar & Grills: (Ashville Brewing Company & New French Bar), Coffeeshop/Cafés: (Dripolater & Indigenous Teahouse), Hotels: (Courtyard Marriott & Grove Park Inn), Restaurants: (Back Yard Burgers & True Confections), as well as Local Stores: (Malaprop’s Bookstore & Office Depot). Enjoy a Southern Style Breakfast in Asheville
There is no better start to your day than a nice healthy breakfast. Downtown Asheville offers a unique variety of outrageous breakfast locations that will keep you going all day long. From crepes to southern style biscuits you’ll discover a little something of everything as you explore Asheville’s breakfast options.
Tupelo Honey off College Street brings southern cuisine with an uptown twist. They feature all organic free-range eggs and hormone-free sausage. I highly recommend the Eggs Betty or a Tupelo Omelet. Happily serving breakfast all day long, Tupelo Honey is not to be missed.
Early Girl Eatery located on Wall Street offers a delicious southern style variety. The local favorite is their homemade biscuits with vegetarian herbed gravy. No matter what your preference you’ll discover the local ingredients make for an exceptional meal. A great place for families, Early Girl always offers fun and friendly relaxed atmosphere.
A special treat not too far from downtown is West Asheville’s Sunny Point restaurant on Haywood Road. Offering breakfast all day, here you’ll find organic cornmeal pancakes and an amazing order of Shrimp and Grits. Their casual style and excellent selection make it one of my favorites. Throw in Vegan options and fast professional service and you’ve got an all around winner!
Get up early and hit the town. Everywhere offers a little something different, but bring your appetite and rest assured you will not be disappointed. You may just find that one of these is a new favorite of yours as well.
