Most of the color starts showing at higher elevations. Currently we are seeing nice color changes all over Asheville, many nice reds and yellows everywhere you look. Within in the next few days Asheville and our surrounding mountains will resemble a quilt, a blaze with a multitude of colors; reds, oranges, lots of yellow and everything in between. It is not unlikely to find leaves, or entire trees for that matter, with lavender and shades of deep purple. This is a perfect time to plan your next get away!
