This is Pack Square, considered the middle of downtown Asheville.

The future of Pack Square is ever-changing. The Pack Square Concervancy is over-seeing a huge renovation of the epicenter of Asheville.  The Conservancy’s board oversees all activities of the non-profit organization, including design and construction of Pack Square Park, as well as budgeting, fundraising and staff functions.

The park improvements phase will include such features as performance stages, water features, original art, open green space, beautiful gardens and native landscaping, benches and lighting.

Pack Square is home to The Asheville Art Museum , The Health Adventure , The Colburn Earth Science Museum ,  numerous restaurants, businesses  and shops all surround the Vance Memorial.
