Battery Park Hotel
Colonel Franklin Coxe, one of the major investors in the railway of 1886, purchased the highest hill in Asheville to be the site of The Battery Park Hotel. He commissioned Wagner to landscape and construct the regal hotel which would become renowned worldwide. Franklin Coxe

I have a letter written on letterhead stationary picturing the old Battery Park Hotel dated September 20, 1922. It was written by a salesman that worked for the company I am now retired from. He was staying at the hotel when the letter was written.
